We visited Mr. Banks’ art class this past Wednesday morning when Joe Gyurcsak came to visit.  Maureen and Danita visited as well, as helping hands to Joe’s charcoal instruction.  The students were great, as always.

Please feel free to give Maureen a call about arranging for Joe, Utrecht’s own artist in residence, to come to your classroom.  His time is always limited when he comes to Cleveland, but we try to pack in as much as possible.

Thursday, November 12, 2009, from 6:30-8:00PM will be the final demonstration for Utrecht artist in reisdence, Joe Gyurcsak, at our store for the year.  Don’t miss out.  He will be demonstration an oil painting self-portrait.  This will be especially helpful for students who are required to do one in their art programs, but everyone can benefit from this demonstration.  Everyone can benefit from doing their self-portrait.

We had the pleasure of setting up a mini art supply store at the ISCA convention in Sandusky, Ohio this week. 

The artists worked in the hall for 3 days solid, and they posted their work around the room for competition.
