Meet outside of the People’s Pavillion at the Shaker Nature center for this free class. 

Artist, Nancy Martin, will conduct a 4-week series on sketching and beginning watercolor.  Class is offered from 1:00-3:00PM and are free of charge.  You should bring your own supplies, like pen/ink, watercolors, and pastels.

We’ve received several colors in the Copic Various Refills.  They sell for $6.99 each.

They have a 3 year guaranteed life, so don’t worry if you won’t use all of the ink at one time.  They guarantee their color consistency.  You can mix your own custom colors in this permanent ink.  The container has measure lines to indicate how much you have filled into your marker. 

These refills, like the markers, are acid free and non-toxic. 

Just clean up with rubbing alcohol (available at drug stores) if you have a spill.

The Downtown Cleveland Alliance is running a photography contest.  There are some great prizes, including having your photo shown on the screens at the Theater District.

All Cleveland Institute of Art foundation kits must be paid for by the end of the day on August 15th.  Beyond that date, if you still need foundation supplies, please come to the store and purchase the items loose from our extensive in-store selection.  Be sure to bring a copy of your schedule when you do that.
