Life Drawing

Life Drawing

Thursday, May 8

6:30-8:0oPM

Level–Beginner to Advanced

Join us for a free life drawing session.  A clothed model will be provided at no extra cost.  Feel free to bring the medium of choice and your favorite sketchbook or tablet.  Some clipboards and easels will be provided on a first-come-first-served basis.

The session will start promptly at 6:30PM, so we ask if you will need to buy supplies for the event, that you do so prior to the start time.  This way, you won’t miss out on any of the poses.

Jose will be running the life drawing.  He will only help those people who request assistance.  If you do not request any, he will leave you free to draw as you like.

The Pixar Story

The Pixar Story

For those of our computer-minded friends who missed seeing “The Pixar Story” during the Cleveland International Film Festival, here’s a link to the information about the film.

STARZ will have a Pixar evening on Tuesday, Apirl 22, starting at 6:05EST.  They will show “Cars” and “Ratatouille,” followed a premier airing of “The Pixar Story” at 10:05PM.

I had the pleasure of seeing “The Pixar Story” during the Cleveland International Film festival, and it is a must see for those of you who are illustrators, animators, and computer animators.  I know that a lot of students were sorry that they had missed seeing this, especially since the director of “Toy Story 3″ was on hand to answer questions, so I wanted to make sure that everyone knew that it was airing on tv this week.
