The traditional canvas offers time-honored profiles and universal surfaces for both oil and acrylic.  100% Cotton Duck is available in two distinct  textures and finished with a triple coat of acrylic gesso to assure archival quality.  It is then expertly stretched onto sturdy kiln dried frames resulting in a sturdy, yet portable canvas with traditional styling.

Featuring The Aquarelle Society and Sherri Koppel

The Aquarelle Society is a group of 16 intermediate watercolor painters.  They have been meeting weekly since 1996 to receive instruction and inspiration from one another.  On exhibit will be over 30 works of art for sale, highlighting a variety of techniques and styles.

Sherri Koppel is a graduate of Kent State University with a BFA.  She has been teaching in the Streetsboro city schools art department for 21 years.  Her delightful vases, bowls, and masks are full of color and whimsy.  They are a wonderful collection of functional work.

Free Mat Cutting Demonstration

We want to wish a wonderful holiday to all of our artist friends that celebrate Easter. 

 Please keep in mind that we will be off hunting for eggs on Sunday, March 23rd, and won’t be open.  We look forward to seeing everyone again on Monday, when we resume our normal hours.

  Word about town is that another snow blast will hit tonight after 8pm.  We’ll be open until 9pm, as usual for Friday nights, but you might want to make it up here today if you think you made need supplies for the projects you plan to work on this weekend. For Saturday, call first, & if you get a person, we’re open. For Sunday, we’ll be closed for Easter.

The Friends of the Cleveland Kennel’s fourth annual fundraiser, “Art Fur Animals,” will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, May 23, 2008 at the Galleria at Erieview.

This exciting event brings together artists and animal lovers to share an evening of art, music, food and fun. Art fur Animals is a benefit and silent auction to raise money to provide care for the animals in need at the City of Cleveland Kennel.

Well-known area artists were asked to design ceramic dogs, which will be sold during a live auction. Artwork for the silent auction has been donated by many of Cleveland’s finest artists. Last year’s event raised nearly $10,000 and received coverage from the Cleveland Plain Dealer, Cleveland Free Times, and Northern Ohio Live magazine.

Please join us for this fun event that supports a serious and worthwhile cause: neglected, abused and homeless animals in the city of Cleveland. Tickets are $12 and include entrance to the event, appetizers and wine or beer. Parking for the event is available for $3 in the garage beneath the Galleria.
