Visit Cleveland this weekend and see artists working all over town.  Painting will take place on Saturday, August 7 and Sunday, August 8, 2010 from 10am to 5pm.  Please visit the Artists Archives of the Western Reserve website for more information on locations and artists.  It’s a great way to get to know the city and its artists!

 You can also get tickets fort he upcoming Gala and Live Auction of the pieces created during the Color Me Cleveland weekend.  The gala takes place on Saturday, August 21, 2010 at 5:30pm at the Artists Archives of the Western Reserve in Cleveland.

Here are a couple of the sketches that people did at our sketchcrawl.  Several times a year, people all over the world meet up to sketch around their city, discover their neighborhoods, and meet new people.  Plus, at the end of the day, they’ve filled a lot of pages in their sketchbooks.

Join us for the next Worldwide Sketchcrawl on Saturday, July 31, 2010 from 10am to 2pm.  Meet us at the corner of Cedar Rd. and Surrey Rd. in Cleveland Heights.  Bring whatever supplies that you’d like to use and enjoy time with your fellow artists.

We’ll start sketching at 10am and go until noon, and you can go wherever you wish.  At noon, we’ll meet up at a designated spot to show-and-tell before going out as a group for the second half (most likely this second half with be around the Alcazar Hotel).

If you miss us at 10am, simply call Utrecht at (216)-371-3500, and they will find out where the group is direct you there.
