 Thanks to everyone who participated in our first ever Life Drawing sessions.  We will be running a second one in July, and this time we’ll be looking for a female, clothed model (any age). 

Great appreciation goes out to our first model, Jim!  Great job!!

 If anyone wants to scan or photograph their work from that night, we’d love to post it on our blog.  Please include your name and the city where you live, and we’ll give you proper credit.

Join us for a painting social.  You will be supplied with an 11″x14″ stretched canvas, acrylic paint, brushes, traceable patterns to create your own piece of art.   Extra supplies can be purchased throughout the evening, but there will be more than enough supplied to keep your creative juices flowing.  Expert advice available upon request.

 We will also provide refreshmeants for those of you who can’t paint on an empty stomach.

Information is available in the store to pick up for our annual “Your Work ‘08.”  Please stop by for the guidelines.  The opening night reception that over 200 people had attended last year will be June 26 from 6:00-9:00PM. 

 We are also happy to announce our collaboration with Heights Arts.  We will have a live auction that night of artwork donated from various area aritsts and various gift items.  Heights Arts will also be on hand for those who would like to sign up for a class or membership.

Level–Beginner to Advanced

Join us for a free life drawing session.  A clothed model will be provided at no extra cost.  Feel free to bring the medium of choice and your favorite sketchbook or tablet.  Some clipboards and easels will be provided on a first-come-first-served basis.

The session will start promptly at 6:30PM, so we ask if you will need to buy supplies for the event, that you do so prior to the start time.  This way, you won’t miss out on any of the poses.

Jose will be running the life drawing.  He will only help those people who request assistance.  If you do not request any, he will leave you free to draw as you like.
